No win no pay
That sounds pretty good. If you do not win, you do not have to pay anything. Lawyers in the Netherlands are not permitted, however, to work on the basis of no cure, no pay. That does not mean, however, that we cannot inform you about the costs of our services in advance.
To begin with, our rates are set out on our website. Our invoices always include a clear specification of the activities performed, together with the amount of time spent on them.
In addition, we may make specific arrangements for an engagement, for example by giving you an indication of the costs and agreeing that we will inform you in a timely fashion should the costs be higher than expected. We may also agree on a fixed amount, for example, for clearly defined engagements, such as drafting contracts. In short, this is not a no cure, no pay arrangement, but we can offer you a clear idea of the fees and costs involved.
