Bousie’s Exploitation Agreement (BEO) has been developed according to the ‘open source model’ to meet market demand for new, balanced and suitable models for the exploitation of music in particular. In it, distinct types of exploitation are incorporated into a single agreement as much as possible, where the artist assumes the creative role and the exploiter looks after the business aspects.
